Shane and Ladleah started KYS 20 years ago while living aboard our Tayana 37. We built this business from the dock up with two beach cruisers loaded with rigging and varnishing supplies, hard work, and real life experience. We are genuinely committed to our customers experience on and off the water. A business by sailors for sailors.

When you call, it will be us who will be putting aside our tools to answer. By design, we keep our roster small so each of our clients receives the high quality attention they and their boat deserve.

Our shop, located in midcoast Maine hosts full paint, varnish, rigging, canvas, carpentry, and machine shop and metal fabrication services. Reach out! We always enjoy a sea story and meeting other boating enthusiasts.
